I have cones with me, so if the weather looks OK when I leave work I'll head to HP, would be there around 7.

The mirror course has been done at some races including Morro Bay worlds - disadvantages are coming into contact with the other racer if the cones are too close, and forgetting which side of the cone to go into at the start (it happened to several racers under the pressure of the contest). Also its harder to see if the cones up in the right place, both for racers and cone marshalls as you do not have a reference point.

Had a chat with Justin Ashby in a pub last night and he made a good point about slalom courses. When we are running an offset course instead of running two identical courses why don't we mirror the cone pattern so that one course favours the goofy skater and one the regular; kind of makes sense to me!
